Learn about beadwork methods used by Cherokees in the mid-1700s. Students will create a purse (approximately 4" x 4") utilizing the two needle applique stitch and edge beading. Suitable for beginners to advanced. Led by Cherokee National Treasure Tonia Hogner-Weavel, who has taught Cherokee beadwork for the past 10 years. All supplies provided, limited enrollment. $50; $40 for Museum members. Register online by February 26
