Join Michael Grauer, McCasland Chair of Cowboy Culture and Curator of Cowboy Collections and Western Art, on the first Tuesday of October for a discussion of New Beginnings: An American Story of Romantics and Modernists in the West. This major traveling exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the evolution of art in New Mexico, from the late Romantic era to the advent of early Modernism. Grauer will take an in-depth look at two of the most important national and international art communities during the 1890s – 1920s. $5; free for Museum members.
